Within your essay statement please: (1) Articulate your academic and personal reasons for selecting this program. Explain what you hope to gain, and how you plan to integrate your experiences into your teaching. (2) Describe relevant activities and experiences that have helped prepare you for this program. (4) Describe yourself: What are you like? What are your interests? What are your strengths and challenges? How do you handle stressful or unfamiliar situations, interacting in groups, etc. (5) Describe your experience communicating with people who you perceive as 'different' then yourself. What is important when communicating with people of varying beliefs, backgrounds, races, and cultures? (6) Describe how you will be an ambassador of Buffalo State.
